Future Innovators Lab

Hands-on engineering and design skills for the next generation of creators.

At AltVault, we believe the future belongs to those who can create, adapt, and lead. That’s why we designed this program to go beyond textbooks and screens. To put real tools in young hands and guide them as they turn ideas into tangible creations.

FAQs

  • This program is for curious, creative teens aged 13–17 who want to explore hands-on technical skills, design their own project, and build confidence as problem-solvers. No prior experience needed, just enthusiasm to learn and create.

  • Nope! None at all! All we ask for is a positive attitude, and a learning mindset. Engineering isn’t as scary as it seems.

  • Unfortunately, we cannot offer pro-rated fees for missed sessions since most of our costs come from materials and venue hire.

If you do need to miss a session, we will provide as many resources as possible to keep up independently, and we may schedule a “catch-up” session towards the end of the program to allow more time to complete the projects before demonstration.

The most critical sessions to attend are the 23rd, and 30th of July, as these will be focused on core skills for the project.

  • Materials and lunch!

You get to keep the inventions at the end including the micro-controller and circuitry. We want to encourage students to continue experimenting beyond the program!

Hold on to the circuits and parts though, we will have to charge for replacements. Circuit boards may be re-used for a discount in future programs!

  • Yes, we are a new program and currently do not have the resources to provide laptops for everyone.

The programs we run are very simple and can run on most machines.

We do not want access to technology to be a barrier, so if you cannot provide a laptop, please reach out and we will see what we sort out.

  • Yes and yes! Please do not hesitate to contact if you require more information.
